Being all the way out here in Germany, I can’t always say yes when I am asked to speak at conventions. Luckily for me, Book Fiends is Nov 9, right before TeslaCon, so I was already on my way stateside.
The theme for this event premiere is Steampunk, but there will also be authors representing all sorts of different Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres, such as my Black Rose Writing brother, Joseph Carrabis. You can learn more about him in my Oct 19 World-building Showcase. You can find out more about Liz Delton on Oct 5, and William J. Jackson is also coming up Oct 12. I’ve already featured Geoff Genge and Corrina Lawson, who will also be there.
I’ll be giving a talk on the 12 most common tropes in Steampunk based on chapters in The Steampunk Handbook, and there will also be panels on writing Steampunk, an ode to the Gothic novel by Leanna Renee Hieber, and so much more!
And of course, TONS of opportunities to add to your to-be-read pile and meet the authors in person.
Get all the details at the Facebook event page.
(Plus, there will also be a signing for me and a couple other out-of-towners the next day. I’ll let you know the exact details when they are all nailed down.)
